The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) is working to create the conditions for genuine dialogue based upon respect for shared values and the dignity of each civilization and culture. Today, UNESCO functions as a laboratory of ideas and a standard-setter to forge universal agreements on emerging ethical issues. The Organization also serves as a clearinghouse – for the dissemination and sharing of information and knowledge – while helping Member States to build their human and institutional capacities in diverse fields.
Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) was established by the Government of India to promote research in social sciences in the country.
National Social Science Documentation Centre (NASSDOC), a Division of  the ICSSR with the objective to provide library and information support services to researchers in social sciences; those working in academic institutions, autonomous research organisations, policy making, planning and research units of government departments, business and industry etc.

The Intellectual Property Rights - Office of the Controller General of Patents, Designs & Trade Marks (CGPDTM) supervises the working of the Patents Act, 1970, as amended, the Designs Act, 2000 and the Trade Marks Act, 1999 and also renders advice to the Government on matters relating to these subjects.
